General information

The cabin (1,428 meters or 4,685 feet above sea level) is high above the Rhine Valley above Planken. The former hunter's cabin has been renovated into a modern Alpine Club cabin with a beautiful panoramic terrace. Starting point for corssing the Three Sisters mountain chain toward the Fürstensteig. Open form mid-May to mid-October.

General information

Ab Postautohaltestelle Planken ist die Gafadurahütte in ca. 1 ¼ bis 2 Std. zu Fuss erreichbar. Mit dem Auto besteht die Möglichkeit oberhalb der Gemeinde Planken bis zum Parkplatz beim Wasserreservoir zu fahren. Von dort, entweder auf der für Motorfahrzeuge gesperrten Waldstrasse oder dem markierten Fussweg entlang, ca. 1 bis 1 ¼ Std. zu Fuss zur Gafadurahütte.
